[epub] Originality should extend to IDEAS too - not just writing

I disagree beyond a point with this, since many people
seem to have USED the prevailing wisdom the SAME
way - and write about it using very similar words and phrases !

I would certainly enjoy reading about a UNIQUE way of using
such knowledge, but these days it is becoming difficult
to find an ezine that CONSISTENTLY provides a NEW
point-of-view.  Not impossible, Brian's own Ezine newsletter
is one that comes up with points that help me ever so often.

In my personal opinion, these days, I find more helpful info
on discussion lists like this one, than on the many ezines
I subscribe to - primarily because most are rehashes of other
people's writing put together by a publisher who heard about
the power of ezines and set out to DO IT NOW.


To conclude, I feel articles need to be original NOT ONLY in
the text matter but also in message/content.  To phrase it
another way, it shouldn't be a re-write of the same old ideas,
but instead have an ENTIRELY NEW idea - and not once,
but AGAIN AND AGAIN !!!!  

Tough brief, ain't it ?  In an increasingly competitive ezine arena,
this is what it'll take to gain and keep new subscribers in the
future.
