This question is a real problem for me because I HATE HTML email of any kind. 
Usually, I won't read it and I certainly won't subscribe to any zines 
that only have an HTML version. But, as someone who runs some 
lists I know that sooner or later I have to deal with this issue. It 
does seem that things are heading in this direction and many 
people prefer HTML.
