As a followup to all this, the way this site works is that you register
(free) for the site. You get a password etc.

You can then sign up for the various mailing lists, newsletters etc that
these folks have listed on their site. (Quite a few) To access these lists,
you must visit the site.

The site subscribes the visitor under a code that has a unique identifier
but then has the @lists.remarq.com identifier.  Your mailing server sends
the subscription to the remarq site and it is archived there. Each
individual subscribing through this site gets access to his/her own archives.

To stop this happening, simply block the remarq.com email address. If you
don't send it, they can't archive it.;-)

If you can't find the title of your newsletter in their site search engine,
you ainta on there.:-) Yet. :-)
