I had two addresses subscribed to the same group a while 
ago (before Onelist merged with Egroups). One yahoo 
address, and this one. The Yahoo address received messages 
with both html and regular, while this one only received 
regular. I switched them around, so the Yahoo address 
received digest, and this one received single e-mails. That got 
rid of my annoyance factor... (they don't send the html with 
digests).

I tried, but couldn't find a setting for turning off the HTML, I 
thought it was dependent on your mail server - somehow!
