This also brings up something that I have discovered.  When I have 
advertised in Ezines, I often ask what stategy is used for bounced 
emails.  More often than not, they don't have an answer.  Many list 
owners count bounces in their circulation and if they have been 
publishing their Ezine for a long time, the number of invalid addresses 
can be quite high.
