EPUB Archives [Thread Prev][Thread Next][Thread]RE: [epub] Article Submission
Hi Dale, Just a quick question -- do you mail each one individually (or use a program that achieves that effect), or do you put everyone in the blind CC box? I've tried both, and mailing individually works much better for me. First off, a lot of people filter e-mail that doesn't have their name in the "To:" box, so they may not even see it. Secondly, as an editor, I'd feel a lot more comfortable running an article that I didn't think was going to appear in my competitor's zine as well. Another thing is that if you're using cc/bcc, it's easy for an editor to make the conclusion that if you haven't taken the effort to mail to him/her individually (at least learn his/her name, the title of the zine, and something about it), then the mail doesn't warrant the effort of a response. I'm not trying to insult you here. I made a lot of mistakes when I started, and I thought those mistakes might help you figure this out.
