Barry - along with a few "real" subscribers like yourself, there *are*
whether you like it or not - problems with themail.com. Its not that I
don't like you or your wife (both likely good solid folks) however, I don't
like seeing subscribers (whether I get them from worldwide lists or
wherever) that don't add value to my business.

And, remember - my subscriber list is a valuable commodity. Whether you
like it or not, a themail.com subscriber is now seen as valueless because
of actions taken by other users of that service. In this as in many other
things, perception is king.  If my advertisers think themail.com is a
useless address, then it is a useless address to me. It doesn't matter
whether you are a good one or not - the perception is that you are not.

So, you're right - I don't want you if you use a themail.com address. Fact
of life.

The flip side of this is (and I ask with my tongue firmly in my cheek in
humourous mood) - why use a service that is a spam based service if it
gives you a bad reputation and only makes you .30/day ? There's lots of
freebies out there that preserve your reputation and give you free email.
