Hi, Anne. Number one welcome and number two, there IS NO silly question and we ALL started out as
newbies!
A mailing list can be subscribers to your publication, web site visitors who want to know when
your pages are updated or even safe and/or opt-in lists where members exchange sales ads and
messages. THIS list is a mailing list of a sort, it is a discussion list but still would qualify
as a mailing list, I would think.

A newsletter and an ezine are, as far as I KNOW, the same thing on the internet but you could have
a hard copy "outside" or off-net newsletter and since an ezine is an electronic magazine, or
newsletter, I THINK only these can be an ezine.

Hope I have helped more than confused.
