Dear Kathy,

A by-line is a small resource, containing a 4-5 line description,
that writers add to their article. When an E-zine publisher uses 
the article, he/she is supposed to add the by-line to the article, 
to give credit to the author.

It's a great way to promote your web site, product or E-zine.
