I believe that one of the best practices for ezines is to include a "personal touch" that is unique to the ezine. When an ezine includes just a bit about the life of the editor, or a section that is fun or creative, PLUS, of course, excellent, relevant content, it really catches the readers' attention. Alexandria Brown, "the Ezine Queen," does this in hers. I have tried to model my ezine after newsletters that follow this practice, and I am having good success with it.
