All the buzz lately has been about barriers of various kinds 
that are preventing your opt-in emails from reaching their 
designated recipients. (The latest statistic on false-
positives from Return Path was certainly interesting.)

I'd like to switch focus to current trends regarding the other 
end of list management. If you've been publishing for some 
time and collect subscriptions on your website, have you 
noticed any appreciable difference over the last year or six 
months in the proportion of new site visitors who sign up 
for your newsletter?  If you use co-registration services, 
has there been any difference in the sign-up rate?

And if so, what do you attribute it to?

Enquiring minds would like to know...at least I would :)
