I still find that email is something I MUST do ASAP - it's a legit business 
task. RSS is like visiting web sites - something I do after all my work is 
done. So quite often I don't visit. But I'm on dial-up. Has anyone tried 
Abilon from http://www.activerefresh.com ? It's free and easy to use, and 
lets you create RSS-like channels for non-RSS web pages. I don't think you 
can add your own selection to the free version, but the full version has a 
free trial which I haven't tried.

I reckon FUD stands for Frequently, Usually, Delightful - that's what I 
tell myself, anyway :)
