Occupying the major part of this listed building, with a delightful enclosed English country garden from which footpaths lead to the village of St Erth about half a mile away. A tranquil setting, yet only a mile south of Hayle, with the popular conservation zoo at Paradise Park, golf and Go Karts even closer. Hayle Towans is about 2 miles away, with St Ives just along the coast. The Hayle RSPB Nature Reserve is within walking distance (approx. 1 mile)

Accommodation

Entering the house, rooms leading off the hallway include the spacious dining room with a cosy wood burning stove set in the original stone fireplace. The walls are half clad with stripped pine panelling and the pine table comfortably seats ten people. The characterful kitchen with slate floor and exposed rafters has a large range cooker and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer in the utility room. A door from the kitchen leads out onto a sunny courtyard with drying area. There is a cloakroom with toilet and a sitting room with exposed granite fireplace and TV. A wonderful ornate ceiling compliments the spacious drawing room, which has bay window seating looking across the lawned garden. Upstairs the large master bedroom has feature fireplace, four poster bed, ample room for a cot, and bay window seats again, overlooking the garden. The main feature of this room is the splendid barrel ceiling reminiscent of its monastic days. There are four further bedrooms, two twins (one with a pretty pine surround fireplace and one with whb), and two doubles, one with a whb. Two bathrooms, both with baths, electric showers over, toilet and whb.
