[epub] Whitelisters?

Howdy EPUB folks,

Long time, eh? :) Hope your Summer is humming along.

Recently another member had brought up an issue about other EPUB members 
not "Whitelisting" this list... and the end result of that is that those 
who post are sent a bucket load of challenge-response and autoresponder emails.

For me, it's an annoying reality and I just ignore the autoresponders...and 
I manually approve the challenge-response emails.

I'm sending today's email for 2 reasons:

1) To find out who on this list is sending the bucket loads of 
autoresponders and challenge-response emails to each poster of this 
discussion board and,

2) An EPUB member told me that it was possible to whitelist this list, but 
I've never heard of such a thing considering that the person would really 
just have to subscribe with a non challenge-response email address. Is 
there really a way to whitelist an email discussion list from a member 
viewpoint?
