Yahoo Acquires Startup Behind E-Mail Application Bloomba, Second Such 
Purchase This Year

NEW YORK (AP) -- "Yahoo Inc. appeared to move a step closer to challenging 
Google Inc. in searchable Web mail, acquiring the startup behind the 
powerful e-mail application Bloomba."

Anyone else here use Bloomba?

I tried it once and it bombed on my XP PC. I met the Bloomba folks in June 
in San Jose and was hopeful that I'd be able to upgrade to their version 
2.something, but now that Yahoo owns Bloomba -- I'm less optimistic that 
Bloomba will be the savior that I was hoping for to replace my 7+ year 
history with Eudora Pro.

Specifically, I am looking for a faster way to search my email so that I 
can request a string or search term and have a response under 3-4 seconds 
and not the current 30 seconds to 7 minutes.

If you use Bloomba's products, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on this 
acquisition.
